Care Net Pregnancy Center of Northwest Houston is a 501(c)3 organization registered with the IRS. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the tax code. We receive about one-fourth of our financial support from area churches. The majority of the funds for our operating budget, however, come from individuals in the community who believe deeply in the mission of Care Net.
The Board of Directors and Staff at Care Net take very seriously the responsibility to be excellent stewards of the funds that have been entrusted to us.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the ministry, you may donate online or mail your check to CPCNWH, 17776 State Highway 249, Suite 35B, Houston, TX, 77064. You will promptly receive a receipt in the mail. Thank you for partnering with us.
Church Involvement
There are many ways that a church or community group can get involved to assist with the CPCNWH ministry:
- Baby Bottles - Fill baby bottles with coins, dollars or checks. Generally, baby bottles are distributed, then returned to Care Net six weeks later when your campaign is completed. One local church does an Operation Baby Bottle in their Intergenerational Ministry each January, asking that bottles be returned the week of Valentine’s Day. Campaigns focused around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day or in conjunction with VBS are the most popular.
- Baby Showers - Organize a "Baby Shower" for Care Net. Any items you might normally bring to a baby shower – diapers, clothing, equipment and supplies – are necessities for our moms and babies also. Your group can have a fun event and bless the center at the same time.
